• Basic birth anatomy

• Questions for care providers

• Common interventions

• Conversations to prepare for newborn parenting

• Golden hour

• Feeding basics

• Immediate postpartum care

Whether you’re planning to give birth at home, in a birthing center, or hospital birth, this is a great starter class.

All family constellations are welcome. You’re encouraged to bring a support person—partner, friend, or anyone who will be present at your birth. Solo parents by choice are fully supported.

Blue Cross and Blue Shield VT Better Beginnings Program reimburses a certain amount for Childbirth Education. 

Good Beginnings of Central VT offers need-based Childbirth Education Scholarship for VT residents while funds last.
